Decoupling
Application field:
Inside and outside (option) for floors
Decoupling of flooring by absorption of occurring tensions from the subfloor that would otherwise lead to damages in upper floors.
Products:
UR-04 (d=4 mm) UR09 (d=9mm) and UR-15 (d=15mm) and Polyboard (decoupling and water proofing) as a FP-version (frost proof) for exteriors

- Traffic load up to 5 kN/m²
- Secure water proofing (Polyboard)
In general:
The Polywert UR-04, UR-09 and UR-15 are Polyester fibre boards that are qualified as a decoupling (tension degrading) underlayment for all kinds of upper floors as e. g. ceramics, natural stone, parquet and, after trowelling, carpets and laminating films, too. Depending on their thickness these boards may be used e. g. on screed, levelled concrete areas, wood grounds and other hard, used floors. The high compression strength enables the application under working loads up to 5.0 kN/m, that is in housing space and commercial premises. Due to their low heat transmission coefficient the decoupling boards with a thickness of 4 mm may even be installed on warm-water floor heating. Additionally, the impact sound protection (test certificate available) for all board types is significantly improved. The boards are compatible with nearly all kind of standard instalment materials. Furthermore, our system Polyboard PBS offers reliable water proofing for the application on balconies, terraces and in bathrooms. Due to a certificated film sealing with an always constant coat thickness we can grant the layer a high degree of security at simultaneous time saving.

The Polywert decoupling fabric (UR-V) is a trouble-shooter for laying parquet and tiles on critical subfloors as it reduces or absorbs tensions from the subfloor and therefore keeps the tiles free from damages. The Polyester fabric is available in different grammages and qualities and can be processed with all kind of the customary instalment material. The revertible laying of ceramic tiling (with Velcro tapes) is possible. The non-woven fabrics are easy to handle and can easily be cut with a cutter.

- High impact sound absorption (up to 19 dB) - Heat insulating - Easy to handle - Loadable up to 3.5 kN/m² - Ideal for new construction and reconstruction - Crack bridging - Tension degrading |
|
The Polywert impact sound absorbing boards UR-03 Silent, UR-07 Silent and UR-12 Silent have been especially developed for the improvement of impact sound and are the perfect underlayment for new construction and reconstruction. An improvement of sound impact (test certificates available) of up to 19 dB can be realized with these boards. The impact sound absorbing boards are suitable for laying of e.g. ceramic tiles, natural stones and parquet and can be installed on screed, smoothed concrete areas and wooden floors. Their high compressive strength enables the application under working loads of up to 3.5 kN/m² which is in housing space and commercial premises.

*The U-value indicated for Thermosilent does only describe the measured heat conductivity for this panel subject to thickness of the VIP-core. The measured value of heat conductivity of this element does explicitly not correspond to the rated value determined by DIBt for an admitted VIP-core. In Germany this value cannot be applied for conducting thermo-technical calculations for buildings.
Please note: In Germany Polywert-Thermosilent® is not approved by the building authorities within the building industry. In application ranges, treating a vacuum-isolation sandwich panel as an unregulated building product, it should only be applied if there is an admission in individual cases respectively if such an admission is obtained.
