Decoupling - Sound insulation - Heat insulation

Decoupling & Impact sound reduction products

We develop solutions for flooring and wall coverings in close cooperation with the construction chemistry and industry. For indoor and outdoor use, we develop and manufacture special products for various applications.

Examples of application fields:

  • Decoupling of occurring stresses between the underlay and surface material
  • Crack bridging
  • Height adjustment
  • Impact sound improvement
  • Insulating underlay
  • Renovation plate
  • Load distribution layer
  • Tile-insulation plate

We distribute these products exclusively through the construction chemistry or industry as well as manufacturers, as they are system products! All technical data are tested by independent testing institutes according to current standards. Our application engineers test and develop during operation, to ensure, perfect and consistent quality.

    Description:

The Polywert UR-04, UR-09 and UR-15 are ecologically and physiologically absolutely nonhazardous Polyester fibre boards that are qualified as a decoupling (tension degrading) underlayment for all kinds of upper floors as e. g. ceramics, natural stone, parquet and, after trowelling, carpets and laminating films, too. Depending on their thickness these high qualityboards may be used e. g. on screed, levelled concrete areas, wood grounds and other hard, used floors. The high compression strength enables the application under working loads up to 5.0 kN/m, that is in housing space and commercial premises. Due to their low heat transmission coefficient the decoupling boards with a thickness of 4 mm may even be installed on warm-water floor heating. Additionally, the impact sound protection (test certificate available) for all board types is significantly improved. The boards are compatible with nearly all kind of standard instalment materials. Furthermore, our system Polyboard PBS offers reliable water proofing for the application on balconies, terraces and in bathrooms. Due to a certificated film sealing with an always constant coat thickness we can grant the layer a high degree of security at simultaneous time saving.

    Description:

The Polywert decoupling fabric (UR-V) is a trouble-shooter for laying parquet and tiles on critical subfloors as it reduces or absorbs tensions from the subfloor and therefore keeps the tiles free from damages. The Polyester fabric is available in different grammages and qualities and can be processed with all kind of the customary instalment material. The revertible laying of ceramic tiling (with Velcro tapes) is possible. The non-woven fabrics are easy to handle and can easily be cut with a cutter.

Polywert Polyester Fiber Board UR-Heat

Polyester Fiber Board UR-Heat

  • Products: UR-03 Heat = 3mm (other ticknesses on request)
  • Raw materials: pure recycled materials (ecologically and physiologically harmless)
  • Application field: Inside floor

Customer applications:
Under: Tile, Natur stone, Parquet, Laminate, Carpet, PVC, Linoleum and Design flooring
Over: heating screed, drywall screed elements, electr. and other underfloor heating in general

Technical specifications: up to 5kn/m² traffic load absorption
Heat transfer resistance from R = 0,02m²KW (UR-03 Heat)
Fire class E EN ISO 11925-2:2010

Description:

The Polywert UR-Heat Fiber Board has been specially developed for use with underfloor heating systems. As a load distribution support with a very low heat transfer resistance of only 0.022m²KW, it is optimally suited as a decoupling support over floor heating systems. Due to it´s optimal construction and the adhesion optimized upper and lower surfaces, it is suitable for all types of surface coverings.

  • more Information

    Description:

The Polywert impact sound insulation panels UR-07 Silent, UR-10 Silent and UR-12 Silent have been developed especially for the improvement of the impact sound and are the ideal sound absorbing underlay for new construction and renovation. An impact sound improvement (test certificates available) of up to 21 dB can be realized with these plates. The impact sound insulation panels are suitable for the laying of e.g. Ceramic tiles, natural stone flooring and parquet, and can be used on screeds, plastered concrete surfaces and wooden floors. Its high compressive strength allows application under traffic loads of up to 3.5 kN / m², ie in residential and commercial spaces. Of course, we also have a DIBT approval for our products.

Polywert Joint Tape

The ideal addition to the perfect laying of UR-Silent

Polywert Joint Tape

  • Products: FKB10-12; FKB10-50; FKB10-120 (others on request)
  • Application: The joint tape is used to overlap butt joints. Due to its width of up to 14cm and the very high adhesive force, sound bridges can be avoided when installing UR-Silent. The adhesive tape is rolled out directly on the freshly tiled out plates over the butt joints and bonded. It prevents slipping of the plates and serves as a barrier for the glue. Please avoid that glue gets through, for example, an open spots in the joint as it damages the construction. The adhesive tape is coated on one side with a nonwoven, which permits excellent adhesion values in combination with adhesive and top coat.

Thermal insulation

Thermosilent:

Thermal insulation

Application: indoors and outside (optional) for E.g. flooring, window soffits, roller shutter boxes or heating recesses

  • high-quality thermal insulation
  • sound insulation (up to 18 dB)
  • lightweight
  • load capacity up to 3.5 kN / m²
  • ideal for renovations
  • stress relief
  • simple processing

Polywert-THERMOSILENT® is a insulation dry screed for high mechanicals loads with high-quality sound and thermal insulation for strey recycling of all types. Thermosilent consists of two decoupling panels UR-04 as cover and protective panels and a vacuum insulation panel (VIP) in the core. The U-value for the element of approx. 24 mm thickness is:
U = ca. 0,33 W/(m²K)*. On Polywert-THERMOSILENT® flooring, almost all kinds of surface coverings can be installed directly. The lightweight and, in case of low thickness, extremely heat-insulating element is predestined for the energetic renovation of old buildings with low ceyling load and low installation heights. In addition, the impact sound protection (test certificate available) is also improved by up to 18 dB.

Detailed product information on request

* The U value specified for thermosilent only describes the thermal conductivity measured for this panel depending on the thickness of the VIP core. The measured value of the thermal conductivity of this element does not correspond expressly to the rated value for an approved VIP core determined by the DIBt. In Germany, this value can not be used for the performance of thermal calculations for buildings.

Please note: In Germany Polywert-THERMOSILENT® is not approved by the building authorities for the construction industry. In applications fields that treat a vacuum-insulation sandwich panel as an unregulated construction product, it should only be used if an authorization is available or will be obtained in a particular case.
